Thai gable roof has been represented as the unique Thai architecture for a long time. It also be accepted to internationalization and showing on the design of main terminal building obviously as the warm welcome to our land and culture.

Thai art culture heritage also has been descended by the creation of Thai craftsman as Thai motif “Lai Thai” and painting.

As respectfulness with could not be comparison to the design of main terminal building including to increasing of the unique Thai culture, architect would like to present Thai motif “Lai Thai” which is the highest branch of Thai craftsmanship to apply as design concept for Transfer Baggage Terminal.

Lotus is an inspiration source of Lai Thai that developed to Tua Thet, Thet Leaves, Kra-Chang Fan Pla, Kra-Chang Klone, Kra-Chang Ta Oye, Kra-Chang Patinyan, etc.

Kra-Chang is the selection to apply for designing as main feature of the building. Building form which is a long rectangle shape will be designed pattern as Cyma Recta and Cyma Reversa along the building. It has amount of 9 Kra-Chang to represents the creative period with highly respectfulness to the King Rama IX of Chakri Dynasty.

Architectural design is to simplify the pattern into simplicity by the order of modern architecture. And also increases façade dimension to the main pattern for creating difference of shade and shadow on the building planes under the natural lighting with more attraction on the unique simplicity form which creates rhythm of shape to harmonize to main terminal building.
